Any one got a second line update???

Nice thread let's keep this going ..so no timelines so far for MR from Colombo vo after AOR .. I am assuming they will take 90 days to send MR.

90 days is really too long.. i wish they start sending out MR soon. ??? CVO is known for faster processing..

i dont know. i can tell in my case.. i haven't got the official AOR communication. i emailed them and they said the file is with them.

Hi Friends,

Joining the Colombo bandwagon :)

I had applied on 27th Nov and received my PER on 14th Feb.

I enquired at CIO and they told me that my file has been transferred to Colombo on the same day (i.e. 14th Feb).

I haven't received AOR till now so not sure what to expect next? :(

Does Colombo Visa office give AOR to all the applicants?

Hi !! Congrats on ur PER. It has been noticed that CVO takes 30-40 days from PER to AOR. Also people in the forum have told that CVO is sending AOR only to transfered applicants (like transfer from NDVO to CVO). Applicants originally from CVO have not reported AOR.

I just received a mail from CIC and they informed me that my file has been transferred to Colombo office...
I am 2 dec applicant and receive per on 18 feb...
please advise when will i receive AOR or i will receive MR mail directly...
Also there is special thread for those whose fill transferred to colombo visa office... can anybody share link to that thread

Thanks man... My intended visa office is New Delhi but file transferred to Colombo. So I should still wait for AOR.

BTW, how do you guys add your timelines here? Sorry I am a newbie so don't know how it works.

Also, is there a spreadsheet for NDVO -> CVO like the one for NDVO -> WVO?

U r welcome :).. Yes you will get AOR before end of March.

I guess CVO is also getting slow on processing :o ???

Hi everyone
I heard that files which are not complicated and needed no more background check other than criminal check are being transferred to colombo and warsaw.
Because still there are files being transferred to New Delhi.
Is that true?
What do you think. I am the principal applicant. No dependents.
Currently residing in Canada as a student.
