Hi,

I think it will take more than 60 days to receive MR. I heard that normally Colombo visa office doesn't send AOR. They are sending AOR for person who transferred visa office, not us. Since you are from Sri Lanka you will not receive AOR.

I think you should wait till you receive response from visa office to give update on your new born baby but check below web link. It says how to inform.

My PER on 08th January , no response from Colombo yet. If you receive any resposne, please keep us inform.

May i kindly ask how did u get to know that Colombo visa office is not sending AORs and they take 60 days to send MRs after PER date?

If you happened to see my analysis in page 8 on this thread it took roughly one month to get AOR for the Visa office transfered people. But for the MR, we got no clue since there are no people who got MRs yet in our thread.

But they are originally from Sri Lanka.
1. Applied : 7th Aug 2014
PER : November 28
RPRF and MR :Feb 27th 2015

2. App recd: 13th Aug 2014
PER : 01/12/2014
MR & RPRF : 6/03/2015

So don't know about NDVO file transfers. Hope this helps for you guys...

But analysis on the SS says they are faster than other VOs.

I am in contact with SL applicants, if I do get info, will keep you guys posted.

So am I right to say that Colombo Visa Office will not send any AOR for the applicants who choose the visa office as Colombo?

Looks like they roughly take 90 days to send the MR and RPRF from PER date.

Yes, you are right. For applicants who transferred from NDVO, they receive AOR within one month, but not for applicants who are from Colombo visa office. Our initial visa office is Colombo.

not quite right. i got PER on 5th feb but no AOR communication from colombo VO yet.

could you tell me the email address to raise an inquiry to cvo. My file has been transferred but no AOR yet.
got to know this from a cse I sent to cic in December. They replied after 70 days.

u can get the CVO email id from their official CIC page
