makes sense. a straight forward application for a single person so there doesn't need to be thorough background check . or i can say an easier application to process. thats probably being outsourced to colombo from new delhi.

Received visa office transfer email. Now its Colombo, Sri Lanka instead of New Delhi. But the subject says "Acknowledgement letter". I don't think its AOR, is it ?

But my ECAS doesn't show any update. It shows only 1st line update. Or may be I'm yet to receive AOR, I'm confused.

AOR is just Acknowledgment of Receipt which is the same email that you have got " Acknowledgment Letter" . Second line update will be " we started processing your application on...." . If i am not wrong this will be updated only few days before you receive MR. Even my second line has not been updated. I received AOR on 13th Feb.

Thanks for the clarification. My Acknowledgement letter is dated Feb 13th 2015, just got it from my attorney today.

I didn't send PCC along with Application. I will send it with Medicals.
Any idea, which person got AOR first from CVO (file transferred to CVO instead of NDVO) in this forum.
So that we can make some guesses about MR date.

I received PER on 22/1/15. Yet to get any AOR from CVO.

Any idea what is the latest date that CVO has issued AOR?

okay then.. i was trying to see some kind of underlying analysis at CIC.

if u say so then there must be some other criteria CIC is looking to transfer files to other VOs

Siddharth generally the validity of PCC is 6 months however in some other threads I saw that they are fine with an year in some cases. So lets hope the same in your case. As in any cases getting a PCC is 1 days work. Cheers !
