Bro, the thread you mentioned refers to the delay in publishing the results by British Council. It has got nothing to do with re-doing IELTS requested by CIC.

dats really a sad news for ol of us if dey r asking for re ielts 2 evryone....it ds nt make any sense

So far only one BC person was asked to redo IELTS, rest all are IDP.

Brother the link is related to test of ielts IDP sep oct 2014 BC is not mentioned in the link. And one person who got redo ielts BC in his case is ielts result is expired.
And my point is tht its just assumption.

2 persons from BC got mail to retake IELTS. Only one person had his ielts expired. The other guy still has validity for his IELTS.

Believe it has to do something with Test Centre. As this time they have asked us to appear from IDP Australia or British Council. I have forwarded them results of another IELTS test which pertains to March 15 but from the same test centre.

However they may not accept the same as its IELTS Academic. The scores are fine but may be rejected as its Academic or may be since its from the same test centre. The new test which I have booked will give us result only in the month of March. Till then its better to Chill and take it easy......

The whole process has been delayed by 3 months atleast for people who have been asked to redo the test. Do u guys think that it makes sense to raise a CSE and ask these guys if they are considering the results of IELTS Academic or not.

It's hard to say the issue is based on a test center. The reason being everyone had their tests done in different centres across the country. But let just keep waiting.

Or is it possible all of the retest IELTS are with one visa officer....who by chance had a bad day....and he forwarded his anger to all the files in his hand.

Now they will update processing times every week.
See it has become overall average time of 13-months as on 23rd December 2015

guys i think ....cvo must issue ppr before feb...

they are asking ielts for some internal survey.....bcoz if they are pointing ielts then they should also send to applicants whom they issued visas n didnt land yet....

they just trying to take some retest..may be rndomaly selected applicants...they will compare their resultts from prev. ones
