FSW2014 Closing Date

Hi friends,

Please let me know, when will CIC stop accepting application under FSW2014 program,
some says until APRIL 2015, and some other people says 31st DECEMBER 2014

Please make sure which one is correct?

I have not seen any official publication to the 31 Dec 2014 end date for FSWP 2014.
FSW 2014 is gazetted to end in April 2015 like previous editions of the programme. It runs in one year cycles or till total cap is reached. All those who apply in eligible NOCS which are not capped by end of April 2015 will be considered under FSW 2014 cycle.

These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015.
Within the 25,000 applications, we will only accept 1,000 in each priority occupation.
CIC will return any applications received on or after May 4, 2013 that do NOT include the necessary Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) or do not meet the minimum language threshold requirements.

I already contacted CIC regarding this and they didn't give a concrete answer. If your NOC is already capped your application will not be accepted.

Yes, bec fsw, pnp, and cec will still be open. They won't close them. It will just be a different process after january 2015. For example, there will be an extra step.
Bottom line: YOU CANNOT APPLY FOR FSW DIRECTLY AFTER JANUARY 2015.
