I sent on december 3rd. My Case Analyst gave me dead line of 17th January 2014 to submit FBI clearance certi.
I think i still have to ask for few more week of extension.
What you guys think? Should i ask for extension or should i wait for 1 or 2 week?
Some of forum member got a mont extansion, so don't have to
Specifically mention two weeks. Just ask for extansion.
In my case he give me 60 days for updated docs and FBI clearance
From December 03. 60 days makes by February 01 or so. I intend
To ask for extansion two weeks prior. Guys please let us keep in touch.

Hi guys!!!
Happy New year to you all...
Any update from any one?

Hi and happy new year!
I recently found this website. Thank god!
Please add my timeline as well: I have applied under FSW1 October 2011 (I am a graduate student in Canada), file number Jan 2012 (Buffalo), file transferred to CPP-Ottawa July 2012, then on 27th dec 2013, finally I got a response:
An update on Schedule A form. Some questions about my field of study, postal code at home, Medical request and proof of funds with the transaction history for the past 3 months. Oh and the RPRF.
I have a question: By now I have ~ 7000 CAD in all of my accounts in Canada. I have asked my dad to transfer some money to my account to reach the minimum of 11,115 CAD. Since they asked for the transaction history, do you guys think if transferring some money to reach the threshold would be a problem??? What should I do?
Thanks so much guys for your help. I do not know how far I am through the process and how long more I should wait to get the card. I am stressed so much.

Hi solmode, welcome to the group. i think you should also post your question on this forum in order to pick the brain of other seniors there as well:

That's a tough question. I haven't seen many cases having this issue discussed online. I suggest you ask your Immigration Consultant if you have one. Common sense dictates that (and again I am no expert not even a little) - It should be your money and you should be able to show money trail where it came from like may be from your other account etc - I guess !

My experience is just leave that amount in an account and don't ever touch it. It's difficult (at least for me) considering the processing time is multi-years (and I am spendthrift ;))

All the best. It should work out fine.

Congrats Wolvy.. I hope you got FBI done first brother.. it's a little time consuming. Apparently it's taking exactly 8 weeks for the report to arrive these days !

I know, it's taking a while from what I see on the forum. I should have everything else requested by early next week so I'll send it and then request additional time for fbi. My husband and I sent our fingerprints on Dec 31st and it was received by fbi I think on the 2nd of Jan. I'm hopeful I'll get them back by early March. Then I'm hoping we'll get the ppr request quickly after that. Any updates from your end Mshaikh?

Hi..early march sounds very possible. No updates from my side, waiting :( I called their customer service and they said I should expect it in couple of more weeks. I plan to send email to Ottawa on my 60th day to ask for more time...
