If you are not sure just enter the pool with 495 for now. You can update your profile later. What IRCC really want to see is a job offer with indefinite duration, which you should try your best to get one. As AlmostThere2 just said anything shorter than an indefinite one could be potentially risky.

Also as I said, since you are inland you are opened to many other programs. The new "TR2PR" variant will almost certainly work in your favor. Try dating a Canadian if you are not married and convince them to sponsor you. As a sellfish FSW-O who doesn't really have any other choices I would appreciate if you don't join the already bloody competition of EE lol.

Guys, please give me guidance here, I don't know what to do. I am working right now in Canada(Montreal) under a closed WP with a valid LMIA(Started the job 3 months ago so no CEC for me).
I have received a job offer letter when I signed my contract for the Work Permit but there is no mention of potentially hiring me when I become Permanant.

Just a regular job offer letter with salary, hours, etc.

The issue I have here is I can't add the job to my EE profile because I still don't understand what a valid job offer is. I have received so many
contradictory answers that I honestly don't know who is right.

My score without the Job offer is 495. With the job, it is 445. I have a good chance with 445 but honestly with 495, I am not sure.
I think you made a typo in your numbers.
Your offer letter must say that the company will keep you for at least 1 year after you get PPR.

Can you please explain the bold red part? means it should cover one year after you become PR, should be employed with that work permit when you are a permanent resident

Does it mean, the job offer letter must explicitly mention that they will keep me when I receive a permanant residence? NO

I dunno about work permits of canada. i simply make quick response posts to queries especially for users who are in urgent.

dont mind my user reaction score, maxed reaction score doesn't mean i am expert hehe

@wonderbly @Naturgrl @cansha @tapperb help this guy out please. quote his original post while responding . thanks bois and gals
How does @dankboi have over 10k reactions and I only have 2.5k o_O??? And I've been here longer too .

That's it, I'm only posting cat memes from now on, no longer posting useful answers :D.

My csr is 467, noc 1123. My chances of receiving an ita is -100% . I really thought I had a chance before.
Guess I need to continue planning my life in Jamaica.

Same here. In Jamaica my crs is 453.

Now when its resumed again the score is consistently higher for last two draws with NO PROGRAM SPECIFIED. Does canada even needs skilled workers?

fact checkers, other express entry aspirants:

I think we all posted atleast once here telling canada doesn't give a damn about skills ,I wish people just read 1% of what posted here lol ,then they would have easily understood this.

I guess my next move now is to convince the HR manager to make me another job offer letter mentionning the PPR thingy, which is going to be complicated..

I still find it odd to ask for a job offer while already working for the same goddamn company.
Thanks for the input

My work permit will be valid for two years but my work permit's job offer letter doesn't mention PR at any point. Just a trial period for 9 months, with salary, etc.

Yes 545.
I have a friend who is CEC and is claiming his job. He is currently working at a shitty place because the other offers he got were contract. He mentioned to claim the job, it can't be temporary contract, but rather a fixed position, even though his work permit is only 3 years. So this might be what it means.

People with that score that had expired language tests and were waiting for draws to resume and people who were waiting to take french exam since they knew scores were too high without, but waited on draws.

Oh, I understand that. But how many are there? I hoped it would slow down once draws resumed. I hope this is not a trend that will last.
