Here is the thing. Ottawa in theory is processing March-may/20 aors and then some random late 2020/ early 2021. Today in my WhatsApp group was a good exemple. We had 2, one March/20 who was requested remed while one nov/20 who did upfront. So yes, doing upfront will take longer for an officer to look at it, but as Ottawa is concerned, after they look at it, they tend to work on it. Whereas if you wait, it might take longer for them to request you a remed, then it would take for them to look at you file after doing upfront.
