Never knew @dankboi is from Poland.
yeah my pollack boi said it a few times

he also said he gets along quite well with homeless fellas in the UK. such a meme lord

And I thought the Kangaroo was Australian.
ImpatientAlligator's logic:

- this user's forum name has kangaroo in it
- there are many kangaroos in australia
- this user must be australian

By ImpatientAlligator's logic, ImpatientAlligator must be from Louisiana.

No. 6-9 months.
It took me years to learn English. Probably it means it is hard for me to learn languages?
What field are you in? If not tech, then a Master's/MBA could be worth in the long run
Investment banking, but I am planning to make a shift towards data analytics career. It is easy enough to learn (online courses) and utilizes my business sense and presentation experience. I have studied various mba programs in Canada and after investment banking it all seems just a ticket to networking and I really doubt there Is any serious networking going on apart from TOP-3 programs, which cost 150k (total with living expenses). Masters is perhaps a better way to enter the market, but also bit of expensive

It's not the knowledge you're paying for, just the name. Very hard to bypass HR with foreign degrees for what we consider good jobs/copanies. Only exception I've seen is famous UK/US universities. Data Analytics is kinda tech-ish though so you could get away with it

If you were Australian, you would 100% be the DKAB of Australiavisa.com

A visa officer can ask for proof of relationship when they are making the final decision.
That's extreme thinking.. even IRCC understands your personal or professional status can change - getting married/getting divorced, job change, kid(s), death etc.
Sure they can ask for more proofs and then you can share wedding card, pictures (wedding, vacation, with family, with friends), text messages, joint bank account..

Is it true for EU degrees as well? Only US degrees are the exception?
Not really unless I guess you have a French degree in which Quebec will kinda recognize it. Of course there are exceptions for top schools like HEC Paris, ESADE, INSEAD and all that. Canada is still an anglo country so anglo degrees are recognized (except Qbec)

Hm. I have a bachelor from University of London, which is not fancy, but I was hoping it would be enough to get through screening

Yes, at 6:40 he starts talking about resuming FSW.

By the way he explains it, I think they will resume the program in the second half because of the inventory.

Good to hear the minister talk about it after a one year halt.
I think you need to hurry up in reaching clb7 for your french. ALl the best man

even my us masters didnt take that much of money. Also canada allows you to work off campus
A decent masters program lasts 16 months and costs 50-60k CAD. Living expenses around 1,5- 2k/month. I guess it is possible to save on living expenses. I am spending at least 2k monthly in Russia without rent, hard to imagine it is livable for this money in Canada
