Canada does not produce machines so has little need for product development, has a very small production and manufacturing industry, and R&D is very limited. That's why, except for the energy/oil&gas stuff in AB, mech engs are not in demand in Canada. Go look at the number of job postings and compare it to Sweden (1/4th of Canada's population) and you'll understand.What I don't understand is why mechanical engineers are not on the in demand list?
