Yeah but a house can become pension plan / retirement plan only if they are able to sell it off and move to a lower cost of living place. Now those kind of places won't exist at this rate unless they retire and move to developing countries or get US citizenship and move to a small town there but then they risk losing it all in medical expenses. High prices all around will hurt everyone in the long run.Canadians do not WANT the real estate prices to come down. Over 60% Canadians own real estate. And these days of low interest rates and low returns mean real estate is the only investment left to a lot of canadians. They are basically using houses like pension plans and GICs.
I don't want to stay in US after my opt ends because here it drains my finances..I don't think just visiting a country after Aor affects your processing time because none of the countries I am going am not planning to stay there more than 15 days,my only concerns whatif I get pr in between travel and whether ai travel or not it will change COR and I postponed my marriage so that shouldnot increasemy processing time.I asked legalfalcon a question in sep 2020 aor forum hope he replies. If I would be you I would consult this with a good lawyer, maybe @legalfalcon will be able to help you to answer this question.
The last thing that you want to do is to do something to make your application process even more complicated. This is a thing that I was talking about. They are working on the backlogs but a lot of people made a, b, c changes in their applications which could raise further questions etc.
Well you will have to update your residence address - I ahve no idea how this looks like - I would consult a lawyer or ask more experience and knowledgeable forum membersI don't want to stay in US after my opt ends because here it drains my finances..I don't think just visiting a country after Aor affects your processing time because none of the countries I am going am not planning to stay there more than 15 days,my only concerns whatif I get pr in between travel and whether ai travel or not it will change COR.I asked legalfalcon a question in sep 2020 aor forum hope he replies.
Changing COR has not bearing on processing of application and no you are not required to submit new PCC or FBI clearance etc. the status of your application gets locked at the date of your AOR. Just like if your IELTS expire after your AOR you are required to take another IELTS; you are not required to provide any PCC.I don't want to stay in US after my opt ends because here it drains my finances..I don't think just visiting a country after Aor affects your processing time because none of the countries I am going am not planning to stay there more than 15 days,my only concerns whatif I get pr in between travel and whether ai travel or not it will change COR and I postponed my marriage so that shouldnot increasemy processing time.I asked legalfalcon a question in sep 2020 aor forum hope he replies.

Hey Alysson! Could you please point me to the links where you are seeing movement? April 2020 AOR here with security not started(as per GCMS Sept 21). Desperately waiting for a sprinkle of hopium..I’ve started seeing some April. After March, there will be a big movement in months because of lack of draws at that time. September is the first month after March that it started picking up quite a bit.
No because my immigration agent has access and they told me they will let me know when they hear an update. Also I haven't applied for GCMS notes. I am hearing they are kind of useless?Did you get remedial, did you apply for gcms?
Well my case is very clean though.Imagine a person with Oct 2019 AOR so they applied earlier than you did. Now imagine that someone has travelled to 50 countries in the past 10 years, graduated from some pretty shady schools, worked in small NOC B sweatshops in some 3rd world country and has 10 accompanying kids and a wife on his file. You can see that his app would probably take 5+ years to finalize.
Would you be happy to wait for his ass for 5+ years? That's exactly why it's not and should not be FIFO.
What is your VISA office?Well my case is very clean though.
