If you are born in India, mostly you will hate sun. It kills. It sends dust everywhere. It makes your life miserable and you long for winters. Winters are called as healthy season in India. I always feel more alive in winters.
True that
But I love Aussie summers… except the bushfires that destroy wildlife and whatever few trees Australia has.

...and since this is an FSW thread, I have to raise this question. What are the probabilities that FSW is going to continue? Asking sincerely since I submitted my FSW last month in October 2021. I wonder how the backlogs affect my submission since I have yet to receive any word of AOR.
You have mistaken this thread for FSW. This is a FSW rant group. We are not experts. We are losers who had applied for Canadian PR.

What they should do is reduce targets, reduce draws, and then work on clearing the backlog.

One thing that doesn't make sense is to keep having the same high target when services were reduced because of covid, and there is still a big backlog that needs to be cleared.

It's okay to reduce the target for a year to catch up. It will also be to their benefit, because they can draw higher scoring candidates in future draws, as opposed to scraping the bottom of the barrel of CEC draws, with candidates who barely have a decent score.

I suggest they do 5,000 once monthly all program draws and try to process those within 6-9 months depending on the stream and at the same time work on the backlogs (especially those that are finalized or close to being finalized). They should use a significant portion of the backlogs to meet targets in Q1 to Q2 and new applications for Q3-Q4. When the backlog is manageable they can resume biweekly draws

But first! They need to hire more staff. Actually heard they are currently recruiting for PM1 and PM2 work level positions at their processing centers

Probably not until 20th wave that people realize you can't run away from flu, you can waste your life trying though.

I was bored so I did an analysis of MEP/BIL (that is quite possibly very stupid) with what's myimmitracker is showing right now. My settings were;

Stream: PNP-O
Status: Medicals Passed
Sort for Medicals Passed date from new to old

Probably not very accurate to do it but in the last week of Nov (15th - 21st) AORs from June 23 till July 20 received MEP; so it's like 4 weeks of AORs in the last week of Nov alone. If IRCC keeps that up I'd have received MEP in 4 weeks, which would mean I received MEP 8 weeks after my AOR. Still not very good but not bad either.

Better calc below;

In the last week of Nov (15th - 21st) AORs from June 23 till July 20 received MEP. These AORs are probably the PNP ITAs from late April to late May -> About 1438 PNP ITAs got processed in the last week of Nov. Number of ITAs before my ITA date are:

Late May to Late June: 2569 ITAs
Early July to Early August: 1601 ITAs
Mid August to Mid September: 1619 ITAs
Total: 5789 ITAs

With 1438 ITAs-to-MEP / week, it'd take me about 4 weeks from now to get MEP. I got 4 weeks again so I think it's not a super dumb guess. 4 weeks from now is conveniently the week before xmas but I'm sure many officers will go on leave early to merge holidays. So no MEP/BIL for Oct-Nov AOR peeps until Jan probably.
