FSW vs CEC - Need urgent help

Hi there,

I have worked as a part time Web Designer (NOC - A : 2175) for the last 2 yrs @ approx. 3 hrs per week and accumulated total 275 hrs - ( 9 weeks @ 30 hrs per week calculation )

and in Nov 2014 I got a full time job @ 30 hrs per week as Computer technician (NOC - B : 2281) and I am currently working there - 45 weeks so far

I created my EE profile on Aug 1st and I have been entered in to the pool under CEC category .. 430 points with ECA

recently I heard OOPNP re-issuing new invitations, I deleted my old profile and created a new one ..

but with this one I am now qualified under both FSW and CEC streams.


I was going through the FSW req's and it states the the 1 yr full time (or equivalent part - time) should be gained from the same NOC type / level

but I have 9 weeks worth of work under NOC - 2175 - Type A
and 44 weeks of works under NOC - 2282 - Type B

I am terrified now .. what if I get the ITA from OOPNP under FSW class ?

can I accept it ? my work exp falls under two skill levels A and B ?

Some one please help me in this regard.

You are being awarded points in advance by the system and that is why it is counting your 2nd work experience as 52 weeks instead of 45. You will have to decline any ITA you get between now and November.

Or you can try making changes to your profile to become ineligible for FSW. Try setting funds to Zero or minimum value.

I changed funds to 0 ... last night .. but still my profile is the same

are there any other changes that I need to do to drop from the FSW pool

If you have an ECA and you don't need those points, remove that.

I have ECA and it gives me 34 points I need it

Change start date of your job to Feb 2015.

then I am guessing I would be dropped of from the CEC pool too .. since I wont be having required hours
