Hi all, I've submitted my canada application file on August 10 2014 for 2173 app id. I have received a email from cic on Dec 3rd 2014 with file number and PER , when I check the status it shows "In process" when clicked on the link it shows "we have received your application on August 13th" . My consultant says now I would be getting an email asking medicals , however, it's been 2 months now no positive sign neither my status shows "we have started your processing". Kindly enlighten me....

Before getting the MR, you will get AOR from your respective Visa office. Generally it takes 3-4 months from PER to get MR.

Aor can be got within 2 months from PER.

Best sign is you are in the race.

Do not always keep faith on your consultant. They do not know the real scenario in most cases.

You can analyze the Global SS and use your own brain for the further processing time.

The processing time between PER and MR/RPRF depends on your visa office. You could check the global spreadsheet to get an idea about the processing times for various visa offices. The link to the spreadsheet is http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Spreadsheet
