1. Can we send PCC along with FSW application? ( i know that common practice is once VO requests, we send PCC, PP , Landing fee & Medicals)

2. Supplemantary travel forms - Is this a mandatory form ? or optional ?(do i need to include travel history from old and new passports for spouse and self)

3. Educational credential assessment: This topic has been discussed in forums and details are yet to be published in april 2013. anybody has any clue how this will work ?

4. Keeping your permanent resident status - Source CIC website : (Your permanent resident status allows you to live in Canada, but there is also a time limit on how long you can live outside the country. To keep your status as a permanent resident, you must live in Canada for at least two years within a five-year period)

To maintain your PR status - is it required to stay in canada for continuous 2 years ? or 700 + days (continuous?

1) Yes, you have send all documents such PCC, IELTS, education certificates, Marriage Certificate, if applicable, fees at initial application

2) Travel form is mandatory and you need to fill for yourself and spouse and dependant above 18 yrs (travel other than residence country or citizenship country

3) You need to wait till April

4) You don't need to stay in canada continuous 2 yrs to maintain your PR

According to new rules, the whole document package (IELTS, certificates, fees and POF) has to be sent while applying.

To maintain your PR status, you have to live 2 years or 730 days in a 5-year period (not continuous) and 3 years or 1095 days to be eligible to apply for citizenship.

Exception is PCC. You don't HAVE to send it initially. CIC recommends that you send it initially, but it's ok if you send it later when you are asked.

Removed PCC :D
