You have to specify your ex-spouse's name in the field and provide the marital status as "divorced". That should be the same for you.

You cannot select "Single", as it points to "Never Married".

Hi,

My query is regarding Additional family information. In section A Note 1 it is mentioned that if no spouse or common law partner is listed then read & sign. But the next line says that I certify that I do not have a spouse, ex-spouse, or former common-law partner. I am confused what to do since my marital status is divorced. Please guide since these are very contradictory statements.

Thanx

hi qorax,

Im new to this thread, I would like to ask, if you have been assigned a UCI number does it guarantee you that your application would not be rejected or withdrawn due to cap reached? I have submitted my application thru agency, last Oct.28, 2011 and reached CIO office on Nov. 2,2011..and on Jan 21, 2012, I have been assigned a UCI nmbr as reflected on my dashboard of my agency account, but I haven't received any email from the CIC, just wondering why?on my ECAS status it says IN PROCESS..

thank you for your wonderful time answering my query..

You/ur agency will get either PER/NER mail from CIC within 90 days from the receipt of ur application. If your mail id is mentioned in Generic application form you will get reply from CIC or if ur agencies mail id is mentioned in Generic application form ur agency will get reply from CIC.Secondly CIC is currently working on end-Nov and early Dec cases. Thirdly check whther ur CC/DD was encashed or not.If it gets encashed they send mail /call CIC for further update.
In the PER/NER letter CIC always mention UCI number not before that.Agencies have a tendency to misguide client. They know how to give fake escuses.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TAPTATANU...one kiss :-* for you hehe...

Hi Sir Qorax,

my friend got NER letter just today but it did not mention if CIC is going to return her bank draft along with her documents... what is usually the case when an applicant receives an NER at the CIC level, do they automatically send refund if bd has been encashed or does the applicant need to write to ask for reimbursement.

also, if application was denied due to lack of points and the applicant has not declared that she is currently studying for masteral degree as she is just about to graduate this march and can get transcripts, diplomas by mid April... will she be able to resend her application with this new additional education? Her NOC is still just in the 150s so if she can send additional education/degree, she may be able to catch up with cap.

thank you so much for your valuable replies.

Dear Qorax,

Self & WIfe submitted our PP+Med+Addl Doc+RPRF to NDVO on 5th Dec 2011
2. On 6 Feb 2012. We rec regd letter from NDVO, that Fee was less due to exchange variation on CADINR rate & they are returning the Drafts because they are 45 days old.
3. We resubmitted the correct drafts as on 8th Feb 2012.

1. How much more time do you envisage for DM.
2. Can we ask for our passports on 6th March - if ECAS is still 'Under Process'. We need our passport for urgent travel & also my passport will expire mid June.
3. Asking the return of PP - how will it impact the decision on my case for PR.
4. Asking the return of PP - how much delay will involved in disposal of my case.

Thanx in anticipation to get your valued response.

Hi Seniors,

Need your guidance and help...

On 28 Nov 2011, Me and my wife got my MR/ PPR/ RPRF. We got my medicals done on 6 Dec' 2011.

On 8 Dec' 2011, I intimated CHC regarding addition in my family (Birth of my Daughter). On 23 Dec' 2011, I got the mail from CHC asking for documents like my daughter's Birth Certificate photocopy, her Passport photocopy and all the required documents for adding her in the case. These documents were required to be deposited max by 11 Feb' 2012.

On 2 Feb' 2012, I couriered all the documents and the same was recd by them on 3 Feb' 2012.

Now my query is.... Should I wait for my daughter's MR to come and then send the PP's with RPRF fees????

Or should I send me and my Wife's PP and RPRF DD right now as it was raised by CHC before I intimated them about addition in my family...and then wait for my daughter's MR/ PPR???

Kindly help me out with the relevant information..

Hello Quorax,

I'm a FSW2 applicant, along with my FSW application Ive been requested to file an ARC (Authorization to Return to Canada) does having to file an ARC make a difference in the processing time? Do you or anyone here has any experience with ARCs? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! :) :)
