Excited na ako for this week, sana mag start na ang december pers!!!

Go go go bebe

Tingin ko once wala ng problem sa meds, after a week PPR na agad, kasi sa iba sinabay na sa MR, so tama grabe ka fast track ngayun, sana lang mapasama kami december applicants

In case naman may problem sa meds, for treatment lang naman yun and in the end may visa pa din, same nung isang pinoy na applicant din, after nila nagpamedical for treatment ng primary complex yung isang daughter nya ayun na delay ng ilang months, pero visa pa din

so sa akin lang once you're eligible na, makakavisa ka talaga, akso may delays lang and case to case din

yung verification ng VO background check and security check na lang like yung medical and pcc, sa CIO yung employment verification and random daw kung sino gusto nila iverify and if they are not satisfied with all the supporting docs submitted

with regards to bd, ako nag inquire sa main office din ng bpi, I asked my agent which is cic to send me the scanned bd, tumawag lang ako sa main office and sinabihan ako na eemail ko yung bd details ko, at kinabukasan, may reply na sa kanila kung kelan na encash

hello sis!
1st day of MARCH tom and its tuesday.... hope to recv gud news/upadates from CIC tom!

ho! LET THE COUNTDOWN begin for DECEMBER batch!

we'r NEXT! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

God bless and Good luck for the Medical, keep us posted! ;D

Hi guys,

Just finished our medical exams today, Feb 28. It includes physical assessment, x-ray, urine test, blood tests (such as HIV and VDRL).

Kris

Hi guys this is my new status. :D I just hope that the medical phrase is not an error for me. It has been 10 days since we have had our medicals

We received your application for permanent residence on September 8, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 29, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Medical results have been received.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 7, 2011.

December 29 was the date of my PER'
Feb 7 is the date of our MR

And just to update you with the Seminar that we have attended, here are the details.

The Canadian Orientation Abroad (COA) organized by IOM - International Organization for Migration. Their address is

24th Floor Citibank Tower
8741 Paseo de Roxas
Makati City

When we got there, we only presented a valid ID to get a visitor's pass. Then at their office, I presented our Medical request since we do not have a yellow flyer and a visa yet. A yellow flyer will be mailed to us once our passport came back after visa stamping.

The seminar was 8 hours and ultimately informative. The facilitator started by asking us where is our destination and told us to group ourselves based on our destined province, so we had a chance to talk to them during the break. I met one who is going to leave tomorrow, the other couple is under PNP who were petitioned by their children.

The topics were multitudinous, the speaker discussed everything we must know about going to Canada:

General Info about Canada
What to bring and not to bring
The process once you land at the airport
What are first things you must do when you arrived
Culture Shock
Employment
About your child's education
Benefits
Taxes, Housing, Food
Seasons : How to prepare for the winter
Traits and Practices of Canadians

It's Seminar that you would recommend to everyone - a must to attend! They also showed video clips, though outdated but still applicable and informative. :D

At the end of the session, we were given a certificate with a lot of pamphlets and booklets with topics of what were discussed. ;D The coffee and tea are free flowing and there's a snack in am and pm. :P And it's all free! Just to compare with PDOS which has a fee of P400 and I don't know if you can even have a sip of a coffee. :o

I suggest that you attend this as early as possible so you can have a lot of preparation. Me and my husband just realized that its not easy to migrate there. :'(

We need a lot of strength, determination, willpower and all the other aspects that are needed to succeed in Canada. :D

Bring with you paper and pens for your lecture, and a jacket if you easily get cold. Children below 12 are not recommended to attend, they'll get bored but coloring books are given out for them.

Congrats to those who have received their MR :)

Just a suggestion, Please enhance your English as this will be on of our tools in Canada. It's also beneficial to learn French :)

Hi krislovesau, congrats and I hope the medical went smoothly, san kayo nagpa medical I hope if you dont mind?

congrats beaanddrei and urbinajanice for your medical
