I'm working as a private nurse here in manila. I have friends in Calgary. How about you? Do you have relatives there? Are you planning to process your CARNA?

hi love20! no relatives but have friends too. yes, i'm planning to process my CARNA after I receive my 2nd AOR. I think we are on the same batch..hopefully we'll get our 2nd AOR soon.. how about you? did you process your CARNA already? I heard it takes long for the IDP and PRC to send the docs to CARNA...coz i have a friend who just arrived in edmonton last month and she processed her CARNA after she arrived..til now she's not yet assessed because she still lacks her IELTS from IDP and docs from PRC. that is why it's better to apply earlier while we're still here.

Hello cherbel,

Ask ko lang if you finished with diploma yong bs hra mo??? kasi according to my agency they will count the number of years wherein you finished your college.

good morning! opo tapos ako pareho ng 2 course. so that's 22 points tama po ba? nalilito lang ako what no of years to write if it's 16 or 18... dun sa question no. 12 sa imm0008. since i finished my 4 year course in 6 years.

Hello, just want to share with you the response from CHC London to one of the forumers.... he is a pre June 26 applicant, he sent his application May 2010 and this is the reply he got from his VO....

Today i got reply from CHC london

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

..... take note of the last sentence regarding "high priority categories" .... I assume that this is "us", the post June 26 applicants..... take note also that they are working closely to manage the arrivals in Canada, not exceeding the plans set by the Parliament for 2011..... ...

i think ung sa college po ang binibilang dun or binibigyan ng points ay ung kung me diploma ka or wala...if ur a bachelor's degree holder ke 8 or 10 years mo pa siya kinuha but it is only a four yr course, medyo nagdetour ka nga lang kasi in between dami events, u are given points as a bachelor degree/diploma holder. di po ba even dentistry same pts lang given with that of say a bsn? ganon kasi binigay na pts for my spouse who is a dentist...

pero kung sa assessment niyo po, u r more than 67pts even if u give urself 16pts for education, i think safe to assume na pass mo na yan kahit pa ung 18pts ang icheck niyo po...so kahit ilagay siya ng reviewing officer to 16pts if ur still above or at 67 pts i think u can go ahead....mahirap lang kasi if that is critical to ur passing score...
