BG - Not Started

No updates since September 23, 2015!!

You must wait till April 1st week. You have to understand my friend..6 months needed. Some people gets PPR in 3-4 months..those are exceptional. So please do not worry. You will get update time to time. Just wait till April :)

All the best!

Im just hoping that it happens within the 6 months timeframe.
Are there any examples of it going beyond 6 months?
What documents have been requested so far? Haven't received any requests so far after applying in September.
How long do you get to enter Canada after your passport is stamped.

You can land from the US, no problem. I believe you will be able to get the SIN either at the airport or at a Service Canada Center.

Ok thanks raj! :)

Who actually issues the PPR? My file's in Singapore VO and it's stuck in que. I got the information from CIC call centre and it was further confirmed by the Singapore VO.

I was wondering whether:
1) Singapore VO issues PPR?
2)Singapore VO has the discretion of rejecting an application?

Hi NashMash,

For my application SVO is the one who issued the PPR. I am not sure about rejection.

Congratulations @annpotpot!

Hello. Everyone who got PPR, can you please let me know what the visa stamp on the passport says? Also, what is the document that one gets after landing? is it the COPR? when does one apply for their PR card? Does one have to stay in Canad for the time they apply for the card to the time the card gets delivered? insight will be appreciated. Thanks! :)

Congratulations to the ones who already got PPR

If I recall correctly Visa just has your name, DOB, issue date, date before which we have to enter, uci and some other numbers including your category.

oh ok great. Do you know if the primary applicant has to be in canada when the pr card arrives? i was thinking ill go back to my home country while my spouse stays in Canada. i can then re enter on the PRTD. will that be ok or do you think its risky?

Any news here guys? Anyone got PPR recently?

Yes you can go to your home country and your spouse can receive your PR card and have it mailed to you in your home country.

Hi,
I applied through FSW Outland in September and just got the PPR. I am currently in Canada and wanted to know if I can send my passport to the CPC-O? And anyone knows what is the current processing time for the passports as I need to go to the US after a month.
Anyway I can connect with CPC-O by phone?
Thank you
