Has anybody had any luck with requesting for an extension of the 1- month deadline for submission of passport. I am travelling for a month beginning next week and need to seek an extension. @legalfalcon @dr feras

Many congrats :) all the best. Try contacting cic informing them about your planned trip, see how long can they extend it. Yes many people got extensions before. Also If you are staying too long in your trip, like few months, then it would be better to just ask them to change your visa office for stamping.

Need quick information or guidance

I received my golden email but challenge is that i am in United kingdom even when applied however they asked me to submit my passport to new Delhi office

I wanted to know that can i send them by post even being in uk i hope does bot have any legal issue

Also how we can inform visa office to send passport back to address compare to receive in person
 
Hi Guys,

I got my AOR on the 15th and my Medical Tests passed 3 weeks ago. I uploaded myself and my spouse Singapore COC's on the 31st of August. My current status is as follows

Application status - We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents - The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Please help to confirm if I am in IP2 and any guesses on the PPR? Are we good to say that its almost there J

Hey all, Got the PPR mail this morning. Thank you all for the support and guidance.

somebody was asking about the timeline.
AOR : 03 July, 2017
Medical passed : 20 July, 2017
BGC : IP1 & NA & IP2 : No idea
Additional Doc Request : 17 August, 2017
uploaded on the same day
RPRF Request date : 22 August, 2017
PPR : 06 September, 2017

Total days from AOR to PPR : 65

I've mailed asking about my application status to CPC-CTD-Ottawa and i got an automated response mail immediately. However, i got the reply mail after two days , by Gisele, saying that, our application has been approved and a "Ready for Visa" mail with instructions will be sent shortly.

So, thats our timeline.
