Hi Guys... I tried to call CIC (+1-613-944-4000) twice now but they never connect me to the agent and the call gets dropped. Has anyone been successful calling them from India, if yes, at what time in India did you call them?

Try calling them after 5.30pm IST, that is when their office opens. I hope you are aware each of your call is logged on to your file for record, and they do advise to keep communication to their office to a minimum. You haven't even completed 30 Days post AOR, so call them only if something really important.

Sure.... thanks for your reply! :)

Hi guys, got the golden mail this morning!!!
AOR- 17th July
MP- around 28th July
PPR- 23rd August.
Visa office -Ottawa.
I am an applicant from Nairobi with 2 dependants.
Hired a representative so never monitored my application everyday.
We give God all the glory and I wish everyone a speedy PPR.

Some cool analysis being done a fellow member in Whatsapp Group for people stuck on Na2 for long in Sydney. Though the logical reason would be load sharing between different offices rather than visa rejections.

Share your timeline so that I could guide you better.

Hey there Scorpman21

Seems our timelines are similar, so i'm guessing your Additional Documents Status should be "not needed" now. Have you contacted CiC to know the Visa Office your application was moved to?

Absolutely correct ! Scorpman21
People please don't be scared to see others timelines.some get it before or later...visa rejections have nothing to do with CIO Sydney office..it's pure load sharing....
There are many instances wherein people have past rejections and successfully receive ppr...
There are so many people stuck in either ip1 or na2 ... and there have been instances of people clearing them even after 40 days ... so stop worrying ...

Wrong @Scorpman21 Each call attended or answered by an agent is recorded on GCMS not a call which we get status by the automated system.

Guys, i was thinking maybe the standard is to transfer the files from CIO to the Local Visa Office after two months, what do you think?

Just wondering why the files ar

Nothing to worry there. Logical reason seems to be load sharing between different offices than anything else.
Thank you but will the files eventually be sent out to a LVO or concluded at CIO, Sydney.

I know that CIO does initial processing and sends files to Local VO. Well no worries just like Hirencool said

I would request the good folks of this thread to check your status on ECAS and post what you see here. Tag all of those you feel have their AOR's in June/July.

Client Application Status - On-Line Services

I can assuredly tell you that once you see "File is under process" that your file's been transferred to LVO be it Ottawa or your home VO. thats positive final eligibility, if i'm not mistaken.. Any idea what we see at IP2 in ECAS @legalfalcon

Hi Teeman has your file been moved to the Accra Visa Office or is still at CIO?

Hi Jack please can you explain what this is, will it give us a clear picture on the location of our file?

It gives you a rough idea as to which status our files might be. I believe it says File transferred to VO but not actual office. That's the grandma's trick right there - once we see that we can poke CPC-CTD-Ottawa and they will reply with info.
