Your file will move to another officer, it could be CPC Ottawa or NDVO, which will depend on the work load distribution. As on now your file is undergoing R10 - completeness check.@legalfalcon Thank you so much for responding Mr. Rai.
"Please note that your application is currently at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia and has not yet been transferred to a local visa office."
Does this mean my app. will not be processed in Ottawa? Or will it be sent to New Delhi where I'm applying from? @KiranK :>
No I checked the automatic system via telephone and it said my file is under eligibility, R10 (done?) and meds have been passedYour file will move to another officer, it could be CPC Ottawa or NDVO, which will depend on the work load distribution. You are too early in the process. Give it some time and you will see movement. After about 60 days, order GCMS notes to see what is happening in your file.
Thank you KiranK!In the PPR e-mail itself it is mentioned to send your PP to the VO your file is being processed. Its a very simple process after PPR, just send 2 photographs, copy of PPR e-mail and the PP. You will be fine. Every thing will be in the e-mail,
Thank you @legalfalcon! I appreciate the quick and detailed response. If you applied from USA then your LVO is Ottawa. As regards sending passports to Canada from the US, I wrote a post long ago:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/sending-passport-to-cic-ottawa-by-indian-citizens-residing-in-the-usa.399633/
There is no law prohibiting a passport holder from mailing his passport to Ottawa. And please do not get carried away with what people say, instead rely on what the law is.
As regards the IP1, IP2 and NA. there are your status change and are mere speculation as to what may have happened.
An EE application goes through the following steps (not necessarily in this order):
1. Completeness (R10)
2. Eligibility (A11.2)
3. Criminality
4. Medical
5. Security.
In this the most important steps are Completeness and Eligibility. If your application has cleared eligibility, you are 90% done. Unfortunately the MyCIC states does not help you know about which stage your application is, but merely speculations are there that after a specific stage, it may have been at a specific point.
To know what happens at each stage - see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/
GCMS is the only accurate way of knowing where your application is at exactly. Ordering GCMS is not mandatory and is a personal choice. You may decide to wait it out or order GCMS and see.

That's a relief to knowIT IS GOOD NEWS MATE! Cheer up, file has moved, Ottawa is your Visa Office, and its the fastest!!

Did she provide you any details other than what is on the website? So i just called and somehow reached to stage where I could talk to a person. She told me, the toll free number doesn't work if you are calling from US. If you have anyone in Canada, ask them to call on your behalf. So I am guessing that's why we are not able to call and get details of our status
even if you apply from outside the application get process in Canada , so if in case you want to raise CSE what you going to say applying from outside or inside? it's confusing meoutside..
No details at all. She said she cannot provide me any details. If I want to get any details regarding my application, someone from Canada has to call or I can send them an emailDid she provide you any details other than what is on the website?
So they will provide the details of your application to a friend who lives in Canada but not you? Sounds strange. I was able to reach the automated option which told me what was listed on the website. No details at all. She said she cannot provide me any details.
