https://immiknowhow.com/2017/07/16/bg-and-medical-status-and-its-meaning-post-aor/Hi all,
I've received AOR on April,12th and currently I am in N/A stage since June, 20th. I sent an e-mail to Ottawa and found out that my application is being processed in Paris VO.
Would you please let me know how the process works? The applications first reviewed in local visa offices (Ankara/Turkey, in my case) and then sent to the Canadian vo - or vice versa?
Many thanks!
Have u called cic to check what they hav to say as u hav passed 6months markNDVO is currently working on PNP cases ...they would start on FSW after that
Hi Guys,
finally after being over 3 months in NA2, PPR mail has arrived (actually a message in MyCiC), asking me to submit passports and 2 photos for myself and dependents within 30 days.
I have 2 questions now, so any suggestions would be highly appreciated:
- I did my medicals in mid March 2017, so hopefully this will be my landing deadline (March 2018), however my son's passport expires in July 2018 meaning that if I land in March, his passport would not be valid for 6 months when entering Canada. I read somewhere that this could be a problem, either for some airlines or for entering Canada. Would you recommend getting a new passport, and would this delay the COPR issuance (also what would the procedure be for notifying them on the new passport)...anyway should i go through this now, or just send the passport which has 9 months validity and get the COPR hoping that there will be no problem to land with a valid passport (4 moths validity) and COPR?
- The letter did not request from me to fill in any document, and i heard from many that they needed to submit a filled-in document alongside passports, photos and printed first page of the letter (has anyone had similar experience)
Thank you,
Best option would be to order GCMS notes and understand what is happening with your file. Good luck.Hello Everyone,
My AOR is 3rd April,Medical Passed: 7th June, BG is still on N/A.. its been more then 180 days.. are there chances for rejection now.?
You can write to CIC explaining the expiration situation of your passport and ask them if they would let you get a new passport and stamp on that. Otherwise, get the current passports stamped, get a new passport and write to CIC asking to transfer the visa to the new passport.Hi Guys,

Thank you,
Thanks for the reply, Visa Office is Vienna, and I am from Macedonia, 1 PA + 3 dependants ....Many congrats buddy, embrace the moment and as per your query I would recommend you to have the kids passport renewed ASAP as 4 months is not sufficient prior to your travel, however a work around would be to travel ahead of March as December or January would be best suited for you to travel in order for a win win situation ..
You have stated that you received your ppr in your MyCic account and not your email ?
Would you be kind enough to tell me your country of residence and local visa office ..
Thanks a lot - it really helped.https://immiknowhow.com/2017/07/16/bg-and-medical-status-and-its-meaning-post-aor/
Maybe this can help ...

Hey, Nope I'm FSW-O, my file is in NDVO, some people have received their PPR after 200 days so I'm guessing i will have to wait for a few more days. what's your Background Check status.?Hi Mate,
Are you a PNP?
I pretty much have the same timeline,
I have ordered GCMS notes yesterday, my file has been transferred from Ottawa to London visa office on the 8th of September, not sure what's going on there.!
