If you are in London, that means you have passed the case analyst A11.2 eligibility. They always do that before they move your file out from CIO. SO you are 99% safe now since the final visa officer rarely disagrees with the case analyst recommendation.

On to the bad news, London is a morgue. We could be stuck there for 2 or 3 months. There are people there who have completed 6 months after AOR and still waiting! I mailed them and got a reply that my file is "Pending officer review". I was excited about that till i realised that even the guys who mailed 2 months back got the same reply. It takes months for them to sometimes pick up our file! Good luck to us!
I am certain this wait will pay off some day ... soon I pray ...

Hello All,

So this is the reply I got from CPC-CTD-Ottawa last night. I had emailed them 2 days back asking about VO and current status.

Any comments or insights are welcome as I am IP2 since July 17.

Hi,

Can't really say. It appears that your file is not yet finalized. If your application is approved, they will mention specifically that the file has been approved. Now a days even after approval they are taking anywhere between 2 to 20 days for PPR email. At the same time since you are in IP2 since July 17, a decision should ideally be taken in the next few days since the VO is Ottawa.

Also wait for others to comment.

Hi,
I got the same reply when i inquire about my visa office on the 1st of August and the following day i received PPR.
Do not worry my friend, good news is on the way.

So, is there a way to get a precise info about that?
And what is the IP2, I understand it is an abbreviation for "In Progress 2" but am in in that stage?
If yes, how long -in your opinion- should I keep waiting prior sending CIC an email to check the status?

AOR: April 2nd

We are in the same boat. Enquired about VO on 30th July. Status changed to IP2 on 1st Aug and the sent exactly the same mail as above on 3rd Aug. So don't know what to make of it. Waiting for further updates

4.8.2017. The battle is over officially, I got a PPR through MyCIC account from LVO Vienna! It is dated 3 August. I got an e-mail notification to see MyCIC account and I found it there.

2 days ago I wrote a letter to Minister Hussen and IRCC about prioritising approved applications and I tweeted about it, I do not know if it is in anyway connected, but I didnt get a response, just a PPR. Very interesting.

In anycase like I said the government should work for the people and there is nothing wrong to ask about your application because it is your RIGHT to know! This process can and needs to be transparent. Nobody should go through horror of uncertainty and endless waiting without a valid reason. I am with you guys, if u need anything just yell, off to the beach now :)

Congratulations Ivana...Best of luck for a new life in Canada..

Exact same response for me as well. I paid my RPRF last week and my current status is NA with "Reviewing additional documents". I don't know what to make of this response. Getting slightly nervous!
