I am guessing your file is at CIO ...

Thats's right. Still rotting at CIO waiting to be transferred to a local visa office. My gcms notes says secondary office is Ottawa. I do not know what to make of it.

CIO is indeed dreadful:oops:, give it 20-30 days more, then maybe try calling them to know eligibility status.
I have no idea about secondary office, maybe it means it is headed for Ottawa eventually and is in queue as of now.

They are in a way being cruel to some of us  Just read on the immitracker of an applicant who was on IP2(May AOR)and got rejected due to the NOC responsibilities not matching.

Got me biting my nails all over!

Mine additional documents went to we don't need additional documents from additional documents you provided are being reviewed !!!
BGC still NA since June 22.
What's coming next and how soon?
In my opinion, if depends on where your file is currently processed. If it's at CIO Sydney, then it's just ready to be moved to an LVO.

OMG that is pure evil, after waiting so much and having one's hopes shattered at last stage. This so sad.
Also IMO the NOC matching to job is another stupid criteria of CIC. They do not need your education to match to your job, they do not mind you claiming points for different NOCs, they have given way to basically every occupation possible in their NOC's, and then they act all so strict about NOC matching to job duties. All they clearly want is people with good english skills and experience in some skilled job, why the hell not make it simple. Plus I am strong advocate of first come first served basis, until and unless someone is a security threat to their nation, they should clear files properly month wise, everyone will be happy then. Files are being delayed for random reasons, nothing solid here.
I really hope things speed up for you dear. Best wishes:)

When they send a notification, they mention the steps to pay RPRF. You follow the steps and pay it. I'm not sure of 7 days as there was no deadline notification for me. After receiving the request to pay RFPR, you should try to pay as soon as you can so that your file progresses to the next step (God and CIC only know what that next step is going to be)

Hey Gurik,

First come first served....is the scheme by CIC after ITA. However, merit of the application like CSEs, country PCC check, Interpol check etc. changes the processing timelines. Also, all the officer can not run on the same speed. Isnt it? All offices can not process on the same speed. Even as a human being, we dont have same size fingers in the hand. So, processing has to be different for each application. However, an applicant can sense out/correlate the processing timelines by seeing others.....:) :)

Thanks @vishalphonsa however, they gave 7 days in this message and also just quoted the amount but did not give the step. unless there should be a follow up email?

So things have started to move. 12 folks received PPR on August 1 which is better than the drought of last week. Anyway CIC is slow during the week and pick up speed over the weekend. This is good news, CIC is coming out of hybernation.

They mention the steps to pay the fees. If you haven't received instructions on how to pay (step by step process), you should receive updated information. Or you may contact CIC (over email) and ask for instructions.
