You got your passport also back?

I'd email now if I were in your shoes. You're processed in Sydney, right? Maybe they need a wake up call? Is there anything you think keeping your application on the table (extensive travel, multiple POF documents)?

yep Sydney just isn't as fast as Ottawa sadly.. only had 1 international travel wayback 2014.. i just read from an fb express entry forum that there has been a change on the pof requirement. i learned that joint accounts are no longer accepted. now im worried as i have submitted a joint savings account.. :( think i'll just send an email inquiry today..

Which facebook EE forum is this? That's strange and new indeed! I submitted a joint account for POF too... If you share the joint account with someone who'll go with you (your dependent), I wouldn't think this would be a problem.

I don't think this is correct. I submitted joint account statements for POF and my file is approved. Please refer to the official version of requirements posted at the CIC website and don't worry much about Facebook updates :)

PS - Why would they not accept joint account, it doesn't make any sense.

Just saw another thread pop up about this issue.... I don't get why a joint account would be an issue, especially if the one you share it with will go with you to Canada.

I think most of April 1st week folks are rotting in CIO Sydney and then transferred to another rotting Local VO. In my case, I am currently rotting in London VO. June and July folks are now moving to IP2 and us CIO/LVO folks are still in NA.....but I guess that's life. Life isn't fair.
Hopefully things start moving for us this week

Correct. It doesn't make any sense. As long as they have a declaration that the other joint account holder has no objection for me to show the funds as POF, why would they have any concern? It would be interesting to contact the person who has posted this update on FB and ask him specific questions.
