Hi Guys,
I would like to ask if anyone here has an application with dependents?

I would like to stalk their timelines as I am almost believing that it might take a bit longer for applications with multiple applicants.

Any thoughts on this?
To be honest, I think nothing matters, the first April AOR had 3 dependents if I remember correctly from the tracker. he had PPR after 15 days from Medical Pass, and in those days medicals were clearing at 60+. So i don't think dependents on a application can cause delay, seen many cases like this. Don't worry about this aspect.:)

Regarding timelines also, I have also seen many single applicants, no travel history, clear cut references etc., who get PPR in 100+ days. I think there is nothing here that can be predicted, we try hard to put this processing in some understandable and predictable pattern. But I strongly believe that CIC has no set pattern, nothing is hard and fast. Anything can happen!!!
I have seen December/January trackers, many getting PPR in 12, 30, 40 days and many in 100,125,150 even 200 days. After all this observation and my experience I think besides it being "every case is different", its more like every case analyst/review officer/visa officer is different and depends a lot on the one handling your case.

How long did it take for the status to change from document uploaded to docs being reviewed? also how soon after ur doc change to being reviewed did ur BG change to processing?

All these happened within 12hours and i would have missed the documents update part. I sent an email to enquire about my CSE. It hadn't been uploaded after more than 2month. I got a reply that they had seen it and forwarded to the appropriate quarters. All the changes on my profile happened that same evening. What I am saying is it is very easy to miss the updates.

Congrats ma'am. Just checked my profile. I am still stuck in IP1, day 21 since stuck on that status. Looks like the long haul for me.
Thank you:)
OMG still!!!!, what are they trying to solve the theory of relativity there:confused:
Hang in there dear, if all your PCCs are in order nothing to worry then:), they must be checking your criminality i think. Extensive travel history could be a factor here.

Actually i'm on IP1 for the past 24 days, which is freaking me out! There might be a problem with one of my PCCs as it was time/address based as I recently changed my address within one city.

Good information. Yes, i did raise the CSE and that too just after 4 days on June 8 after AOR - June 4. I passed the medical on July 6 and IP1 on July 7. It became NA2 in the evening.

On June 24, the status of the additional document changed to "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded."

Yesterday and today, I received the email from CIC about successful receiving of the CSEs.

July 18 email -

"We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that your documents were received by the office processing your file.

Rest assured that you will be contacted if additional information is needed during the processing of your application."

July 17 email -

"We are pleased to confirm the reception of your document. We have forwarded it to the responsible office for their consideration.

If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:"

These emails forces me to have a view that case officer may be waiting to review these documents as of now. After the review only, I will proceed to IP2.
Yes you are right here, but it generally takes a day or two to pass things if everything is satisfactory and in order. I hope this is the case and you get the IP2 soon! All the best :)
