Guys. I have also been on IP1 since 4th July. Though same day CIC had requested for my missing PCC which I sent to them immediately. Maybe we could be lucky enough to skip NA to IP2??

Ok guys... I got my GCMS notes. If you remember me, I'm still waiting for my HK PCC to be sent to CIC as I only got their request letter on Jun 19.
On Jun 20, the file was transferred to Ottawa.
Something I noted in my GCMS notes;
A11.2 Recommend pass.
R10 not complete pending PCC.
They verified my criminity with RCMP as I was an international student and no trace found.
They checked my company's website to verify my work experience.
Security: not started.

What they could be looking at is if company website, address, phone number etc and company background(work profile/products etc) are matching with what is mentioned in reference letter. That is the basic way of verification they might follow. If there is some discrepancy/doubt, they might pass it to thorough background verification of company i think...

No. I think they just wanted to verify if the company exists. Also, the company is relatively big so probably they don't need to dig too deep.

So am I the only one who was confused at the ridiculous number of applicants being process at Sydney, only to work out that its not Sydney Australia, but Sydney Nova Scotia which I now know exists??

Maybe we could. Who knows with CIC. Now 21 days since stuck on IP1 and day 60 since AOR

Congratulations .. This is IP2.. now, PPR is anytime.. generally it takes 4-5 days.. but you can receive the golden mail sooner too... All the very best !!

Almost the same timeline...stuck in ip1...cant wait for it to change...
