Ok Champions, i have a query. My country of residence is UAE and I hold an indian passport. In the likely event i get a PPR, i should ideally be asked to submit the passport at a VFS office in UAE.

I am planning to visit India for a 2 weeks or so. However, my query is whether I can submit the passport to a vfs office in India or it will specifically need to be submitted in UAE?.

I met someone from CEC class yesterday at the VFS office in New Delhi and she got the PPR to be submitted in Ottawa. She mailed them and asked to change the VO to New Delhi. She did this because she not going back Canada for next 3-4 months.

As you already know that we have 31 days to submit the passport from PPR mail and your visit is only 2 weeks. You will still have enough time to submit the PPR in UAE.
You can submit in New Delhi also but how will you get the passport back, by the time it gets stamped you will get back to UAE.

Hi @astralsource, @gurik, @KiranK, @comfortablynumb
I have just read about the CIO in Sydney and from my understanding it is where the eligibility is carried out. Is it safe to say my application is still undergoing eligibility and hasn't been moved to a VO yet? or Can my application be finalised in Sydney?

your inputs would be appreciated.

My R10 was done at Sydney and A11.2 was done in Ottawa. Not sure if this is the case for everyone.

When was the last time you sent an email asking for VO?? Your NA is 4th July and by this time it should have been moved to a LVO or Ottawa.
