Hi there - I am not sure if RPRF request means anything in terms of progress. Even though the hypothesis "CIC will not request for the landing fee unless they are happy with proceeding" seems plausible, I don't think there is any evidence to validate this. Also, doesn't the eligibility check start with IP2?

Others, let me know if you think otherwise.

Hi @SJR_Spencer,
with logic applied, I concur with your reasoning that its plausible to think that CIC wouldn't request for RPRF fee if the application hasn't passed eligibility and that why I wanted to know if request for RPRF indicates that eligibility has passed. The application progress outline is all based on speculation and I would like to think IP2 is when the last batch of check occurs before request for passport.

Hey you should try it, I think definitely yes because you will provide all the neccessary data! They probably wont look into application but just locate the file, Keep us updated, would like to know too!
Thanks a lot, I am mailing them tonight:), will let you know for sure:)

FYI, sent email to Ottawa today asking for VO and received PPR in 8 hours. But again like you said that's just a way of looking at it.:):)

I knew it was going to come by this Friday instead came today.

Congrats! It's pretty certain sending email does trigger something with application. Two of us had background change just after sending email!

By the by what is your additional documents status ?

OMG Congrats! You must be so excited! Cheers for a great start ahead:D

CIO or Ottawa should not make any difference. I heard they are treating some files in CIO. Yours might be among. I ordered mine on 57 days post AOR.
Yeah, you are right. I am also aware of that, but I want mine to be at Ottawa. If its at CIO it will take time for me to be sure that i am out of R10. Hence will have to delay GCMS then.
BTW any reply to your VO enquiry?

Hello everyone , i have a query. my application is managed by a consultant and he has made an email id for me which he used for my cic account.

Now after a lot of persuasion, I have the credentials to access myCiC account. I see that i am at 98 days post AOR and i am stuck at NA2.

Considering the above, I am planning to send a mail to CIC hoping it triggers some update.

So my query is, can I send the email from my personal email id, or it needs to be sent only through the email id present in the CIC account?

You can send from your personal e-mail as long as you know your File no and UCI no. , I am doing the same.
