Hello seniors,
Need advise, please.

I just received my GCMS. my application is untouched since July 17. I am a US applicant, May 24 AOR, medicals passed on July 5. ADR- changed to we do not require on Aug 18. Visa office - CPC Ottawa.
My GCMC was printed on Aug 17.

I provided employment letter, covering all my positions - past 10 years with a same employer but 5 roles. I submitted my job description along with tax and pay slips when i submitted my electronic application on May 24.

My GCMS notes says, On July 17, a case analyst said, Eligibility: Review Required - NO duties listed on LOE. But as i said, i provided my job description (6 pages) for my current role.

Given the above comment, can i send job descriptions for my current and past roles (with the same organization) through webform? CIC did not ask for this. But is it okay to submit these since i read case analyst notes in my GCMS? - OR just ignore it since i didnt received any message from CIC, and my CIC account shows, no additional documents are required. PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS>>>>

I think you should send it to them. Probably the reason for the delay.

Got a reply from CPC Ottawa to an email that I had sent 2 days ago -

Application has been approved!
They will be sending the Ready for Visa email soon!

It seems like you are in IP2. It takes anywhere from 2 days to 2-3 weeks to get PPR after this. So be patient and you will get it for sure! Good luck!

IP2 is when your background status changes from "Not Applicable" to "We are processing your background check". IP2 = in progress 2

It seems like you are in IP2. It takes anywhere from 2 days to 2-3 weeks to get PPR after this. So be patient and you will get it for sure! Good luck!

I just called the 613 number last night. The agent said my eligibility and background verification are done but the application is not finalized. I asked further about security but he said he has no access to that information. He said the file is not processed in that office so he cannot tell him further details.

Background verification...is it like background check? I asked what the next step would be and he just said it's still in progress. His answers were quite confusing. What do you guys think?

Hi everybody.

My wife and I have just received our visa confirmation for PR (Federal). But I found very unusual from them to ask for a confirmed ticket/itinerary .. at the time of submitting the passports. Does it mean that I do have to purchase tickets without even knowing to visa expiry ??
Does anybody go through a similar situation, plz share with us you experience.

When I received the PP request, itinerary was marked mandatory.

A fellow ppr mate later on received an email from cic that it was a technical glitch. However I have not received my CoPR
