Can I go to Canadian embassy for that? Or is there any specific department for that?
No need to go anywhere dear. use the link below-https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
While sending a CSE do upload a proof showing you stayed in Canada only for 11 days.
Also i suggest please call them too, in order to know that you actually need this information, in case you do, you get on to getting that PCC ASAP and upload it. Better to be safe.

This is probably the agent handling my PPR letter.

And this is clearly the current situation in VO London! Tense!

Gotta love the office jobs!
Ohhh astral your signature is both cute and sad at the same time. So apt!
I feel you my friend. i hope tonight is the day the VO decides to issue the PPR finally for you!
P.S- gif is hilarious and apt, though i think they are even slower. BTW did you also moved to London VO now?

I think I may have a theory for why London VO may be very slow at the moment. In UK, there is always a large portion of our workforce going on holiday during the summer months especially people who have children. So most offices have a varying number of staffs and usually employ temporary staffs to fill in during this period but this might be impossible for the visa office to employ people temporarily to keep up with the demand due to the sensitivity of the job. so hopefully we should start seeing rapid activity as the summer months passes.

Just a theory! or they could just be plain LAZY. who knows!:p:D
This might be one of the reasons as they handle lot of applications from many countries. Found this on cic website:-

Visa office in London, United Kingdom
Responsible for Permanent Resident Applications from:

(Includes Self-employed, Start-up visa, Quebec-selected skilled worker, PNP and family sponsorship)

Afghanistan, Bahrain, Channel Islands, Denmark, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Scotland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Yemen

My status changed to IP2 on 22nd and this is the current status

Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

So assuming I clear whatever checks they are doing, will the status change to NA or will i get proverbial golden email directly?
My ip2 also 22nd july! Will be watching u :p

You have to analyse the processing timelines based on AOR month. The processing times have drastically reduced for FSW folks.

Based on the Myimmitracker data for FSW Outland, current average time taken for PPR:
April AOR: 101 days
April AOR: 93 days
May AOR: 71 days
June AOR: 38 days
Its true i have seen june AOR ppl getting ppr really quick!

I hope not, didnt contact them since I got a clear answer on my application on 17 July. It was still in Ottawa when it was already approved so I think there is no need to transfer it anywhere. Tell me, your application was in Ottawa too right? It didnt go to Local visa office (where you sent your Passport), ever?

I've decided to get a PCC just to be on the safer side. It only takes about 3 business days. So I think I should be good.

Just got this response on the visa office:

"Please note that your application is currently at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia and has not yet been transferred to a local visa office."

Don't know what to make if it..

It doesn't matter where you are based in. A lot of Indian applications here are done in Ottawa. They allot it based on load sharing. There are UAE applications done in Ottawa too and they are the ones who got PPR in 60 days on the tracker. I think it all comes down to the VO office. How do they even do a check if they haven't even gotten to your file! My file spent 100 days in CIO and all they did was pass my R10 and Criminality.
You hit the nail on the end. I wouldn't be surprised if my notes come back and only R10 and eligibility will be completed. I think that is all Sydney does before shipping it somewhere else. I think it is just a holding ground before allocating files elsewhere.
