I just want to quote someone else's post on I read on Quora other day and i think it's apt for everyone on this forum. It was a real life experience of a new immigrant. He landed last year in winter and a few days after his landing... it was snowing in Toronto. He had a friend drop him somewhere and as it started snowing, he wanted to go back home. He was standing at the bus stand waiting for a bus in the heavy blizzard. Just when the bus came, he put his hand into his pocket to take out his TTC card and he realized that he forgot his card at home. The Bus stopped and the door opened. He told the bus conductor to carry on since he forgot this card. The bus driver waved him to come in. And when he stepped in, the bus driver said "Our country might be cold, but our hearts are warm. I am not leaving you in the cold".

The story moved me and it is people like you and everyone else in this forum that will continue to bring warmth to this great nation. All the best @gurik. Please continue to spread that warmth!
