Hi shirinsyeda,

As far as I know based on the instruction of CIC, you need to pay the amount for all of your family members whether they will accompany you in Canada or not. If you do not intend to bring your 2nd child with you, you can state that in the form. Please be informed also that your 2nd child should undergo medicals even if he/she would not go with you in Canada. You may read the guidelines again for clarification and ask other people in the forum.

cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG74.asp

All applicants must undergo a medical examination.

You and your family members, whether they will be accompanying you or not, must undergo and pass a medical examination. To pass the medical examination you or your family members must not have a condition that:

•is a danger to public health or safety, or
•would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.
Examples of “excessive demand” include ongoing hospitalization or institutional care for a physical or mental illness.

Hope this helps.

hi there!
are you referring to the initial assessment to NOVA SCOTIA?
if there's no problem with the forms and payment, and if you gained at least 67 points
the ideal waiting time is 2 months or maximum of 75 days...

just keep the faith and the patience as well... it will be there soon.

i first took my IELTS last JUNE 2008, more than a year before i applied.
i got 7.5 speaking, 7 writing, 7 reading, and 8 for listening...
it was so unfortunate, that come the time NS received my documents, my IELTS was already more than 1 year...
so just recently, i took my IELTS again for the submission of full documents...
and it will be of great help as well for me to apply for my eligibility as a nurse there...
i'm very hopeful things will run well in this application... everything is complete...
I'm only waiting for my IELTS result and i'm off to go...

god bless in our application...

shirinsyeda

Please Go through the VISA office Guideline. I have sent a Bank Solvency letter along with 3 month Bank Statement

Thanks
