Hi all.
Some strange question as you may think.

I am going to proceed with my FSW application. I'm married and not going to file a divorce.
But according to some circumstances my wife and my son need to stay at my home country at least for 18 months due to the properties of my wife's work.
The question is: should I include information about them in my application (for instance Generic Application IMM0008ENU_2D) and if yes (as I suppose) where and how could I mention that my family does not follow me in the immigration process.

I skimmed through the page on the CIC website but none of the downloadable files contain such special form.

Thanks to all.

There are special checkmark fields in IMM0008ENU_2D where you must indicate whether your dependent is accompanying or not accompanying you. You should include all your dependents no matter whether they are moving with you or not.

Not exactly. In this form I can only mark whether my dependent child is intended to relocate with me ('Personal details of dependent' p.11).
What I could NOT find is the tick box (or the declaration field) which states that I am not intended to include my spouse as a principal applicant's accompanier.

So according to that I am interested:
How must I declare that my wife does not follow me?
Is it possible to attach some form of personal statement (non-obligatory, just to clear the issue) where I will explain it by my own?

Well if you don't pay for a family member (see fee payment form IMM5620E), then that means she's not accompanying you.

No, it is not like that.

Your wife is your dependent too. You must provide her details as your dependent and in question 10 a) "Relationship to principal applicant" select "Spouse" from the list and then in the question 11 a) mark "No"

Does anyone know if non-accompanying spouse has to do interview?
