My profile states I meet the FSW requirement, and not CEC. But I’m certain I qualify for CEC. Will this affect my invite under CEC?

As well as when is the next CEC draw? I can’t apply for PNP due to the lack of funds.

So how do you qualify CEC? What is your NOC? How many years of Canadian work experience do you have?

There may be no CEC draws this year. Maybe one. No one knows.

3 years before one apply...

So you worked in Canada from Oct 2018 to Dec 2019. If so your Canadian experience is only from March - Dec 2019.

Yes, that's the reason.

You do not have 3 years of Canadian work experience within the last 3 years.

The full year of Canadian work experience must have happened within the last 3 years. Your experience from October 2018 to February 2019 falls outside of the 3 year period and therefore you do not meet the requirement of having 1 year of Canadian work experience within the last 3.

So it's correct that you do not qualify for CEC. You only qualify for FSW.

I'm not sure why you thought the count starts from 2020.

The 3 years is from the date you submit your application.

Ok. I was called to apply for PR last year August under CEC outside Canada . But unfortunately application was cancelled due to incomplete document in December such as translation and affidavit of Ecuador’s police certificate.

According to express entry I no longer meet CEC, but FSW as of January. What happens in my case? Will I still be called under CEC?

No, you will not be called under CEC.

You no longer qualify under CEC. You have to qualify for CEC at the time you receive ITA.

You only qualify to receive ITA under FSW now.

You are not eligible for CEC because your one year of canadian work must be within the last 3 years so anytime from May 2019. You only have 9 months. Each month, you lose another month. You may be eligible for FSW.
