I got my second BOWP approved on 2nd Dec, applied on 20th August. I just raised a webform about a week ago and provided a screenshot saying PR application is still pending (they did not request it), it got approved the next week. Not sure if there’s a correlation or not.

ADR regarding my add-on request to add my spouse to my application. Including passport, photo, PCC, medicals, etc. AOR July 15th, 2020. VO-Ottawa

Hey guys, I received an email from IRCC that they received the ADR they asked for recently. When I logged into my portal, my application status was updated and now I see my spouse has been added to my portal. Finally! I also had my medicals extended and reflected on my portal a few days ago.

The weirdest thing happened today, I logged into my portal, my application was updated. My medicals are gone again ))) They passed on Dec 3rd, 2021 and now they have disappeared, instead, it now says 'We are reviewing the results of your medical exam.'
Did someone have a similar experience? Why after 4 days my medicals disappeared?

I applied for GCMS on Oct 14th, still waiting as well. Did you get an extension email or something?

hey man nothing to say except that i am in the same boat and I do understand your level of stress. It s hard to understand for people not in the situation.

AOR Feb 2020, I have been on implied status for 4 months last year waiting for my first BOWP and here it happens again, I am on implied status since Dec 3. (I got ADR on Dec 4th though… Coincidence?)

I agree it is extremely stressful, no more MSP and what happens if suddenly they reject my application for whatever reason? Also had to cancel my trip back to my home country for Christmas. Third year in a row without seeing my grandma. Small thing but it does take a toll on me, she is pretty old, good chance it was my last opportunity to see her so yeah. Shitty.

I didn t notice any impact on my credit card score nor my driving license though.Your sin number is deactivated but you keep the same one. If you had an open permit prior to that, you can still change employers, I did last year while on implied status and didn t have any trouble.

Hi, did you apply for SIN extension using the acknowledgement letter for BOWP (the one which shows temporary extension)? Or do we have to wait for the permit to extend our SIN? Thanks!

You have to wait until you get your bowp to apply for new sin (extension), but you can keep working under implied status. Read here: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1505&top=17

Requested them to give me a decision or an approximate time-line in which it can be processed.

I know it wont make any difference, but still I just did. I will keep you guys updated if I hear back from them.

I sent a webform today also asking if my app is still in progress, cause man, it’s been too long and nothing since November 2020 when I was asked for adr.
