I actually have not called CIC. What number should I call? And what kind of information are they able to provide?

I am checking all folders of my email regularly! No PPR yet.

Call 888-242-2100 and speak to an agent. Talk politely and ask that you just want to check if they are not missing any documents and last time you checked online it showed BG check in progress. Ask the agent if he/she could give you an update on what stage your application is at?

Give them your EE Application number or UCI #. Good luck! Let us know what they say. :)

Thanks mate. I will do that and will post the results here.

BG is still NA.. Last update was May 2nd - IP to NA (AOR- March 7th). The wait continues...

My friend's BGC went to IP(2) just now.

Her details are:

FSW-Inland
AOR: Jan 29
Meds Passed and BG IP(1): March 17
BG : NA: April 6
BG IP(2): May 17

Visa Office: Ottawa

IP(2) is exactly 2 months from IP(1)!

Predicting her PPR for May 24th (because of Victoria Day holiday).

Haha! Sorry, but that didn't happen. I think it'll take 5-7 days. #lifestruggles

His name is Mani Pradhan. He was requested an RCMP report and got PPR directly from IP(1). I guess Olak will see the same.

I called CIC this morning and they just told me that my file is in security check. When I asked if they could give me an approximate timeline for PPR, the agent just referred to the six month processing time and said that it could take until July 14 (AOR Jan 14) :(

That's ok. They will and are not supposed to give you a definite date.

Security check means its good. There are several reasons why security screening can take more time. I know this is easier said than done but just be a bit more patient. Its around 4 months for FSW-Inland.

If I had to speculate, I would say PPR by early next week for you. :)

Thanks, Zam7! You are right! I really hope that the email comes next week, but I guess we should be patient!
