Cool. Thanks for sharing it.

If I had to take a wild guess, I would say that you and Ricky should get your PPR by end of this week (15 days after IP(2) )..But nobody can predict CIC's behaviour.

By trend people receive PPR the same day or in 1-2 days. So we are out of logic already.

Hey,
I had some movement on my file this morning. Background went from NA to IP2! I'm hoping that means PR soon....
I think CIC works in some pattern/ batches. If I remember correctly, you were asked to submit ADR on 3rd May and 7 days to submit it. so even if we submit ADR early they might be opening the file on a preassigned date.
What is your "review of additional documents" status?
Keep us posted on your status.

Do you think AOR date is more important than the date on which file was transferred to Ottawa from CIO which is the date BG goes to NA?

In my case it turned to NA on April 6th just like yours but you are Jan 18 - AOR and I am Feb 8th. But your BG changed to IP(2) in exactly 1 month from NA date. But mine hasn't. So looks like 4 months processing time.

Yes, you're right regarding ADR request.

The status of :Review of additional documents": The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.

Any movement on your end?

I believe so. AOR and stream might be important factors to see progress. In this forum, I learned that security clearance is done by an outside agency. Agency must have some lead time and accordingly officer puts next review date on your file. Everything depends on the complexity of the case.
These are just observations, every case is unique and CIC is very unpredictable.

BTW, my Bridging work permit was refused on wrong grounds. I appealed and finally, got approved.

Hoping for the best and enjoying this rollercoaster PR journey.

Dear Friends,

Finally, I received the golden mail today at 6 pm.

Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for your unwavering support, help, and invaluable guidance. I followed this forum closely(almost daily). I value the contributions made by each person. Truly it keeps us going in all conditions. I did lose hope once during the process. My bridging work permit was rejected on wrong grounds and almost lost my job. But, I appealed the case and it was reopened after 15 days. Those 15 days were a nightmare, indeed.

To sum up, keep going in all conditions. I learned that an immense patience and perseverance is required in this dream journey. Trust me it is truly rewarding. Good luck and may all your dreams come true, eh!!!

Any help needed, give me a shout.

Not everyone.
I have IP2 since April 27th.
Called CIC, they told me all checks are done, but Security Check is in progress. For almost two weeks already.
Anyone has the same experience?
My BG is in IP2 since May 5th. Same as you I called CIC and they told my the security check is in progress...
