Yes, because its been around 60 days for them, to reach the 'Medicals Passed' stage. The tracker shows a trend of approx. 60 days from eAPR to 'Meds Passed' and then around 30 days to PPR. This is the average observation of the info available. Total processing time looks like 90-100 days for FSW-Inlands.

I think they process or update applications in batches. Guess we just have to play the waiting game until we reach the start of the queue. ::)

Guys, just got my medicals passed. Background check in progress and no additional documents required. All three changes today.

Medicals - from "you do not need a medical exam" >>> "you passed the medical exam"

Additional Documents - from "Not Applicable" >>> "We do not need additional documents"

Background Check - from "Not Applicable" >>> "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"

Nice! Good to see some movement finally on the January FSW inlands - seems like quite a few now have medicals passed, and more Dec FSW inlands getting PPR. Hopefully that means for us Feb AORs we will start to see something happening in a few weeks. Hard to be patient when so many of the Feb CECs and FSW-outlands are getting their medicals passed!

Yeah! at last some movement. Just got a reply from CIC that through email that my file is at the central intake office Nova Scotia for processing. I guess, they complete the initial processing (R10 and A11.2) and then transfer it to the local visa office (Ottawa Office) for final decision.

Hopefully, Jan applicants will start getting updates/PPRs in the next 30-40 days.

Congratulations negarina! So happy to see FSW-Inlands moving at a consistent pace. ;)

PPR is in the vicinity!

Can someone explain why FSW Inland has slower processing than FSW outland and CEC inland? That makes no sense to me...

Hey guys,

Put this question to the forum in different places a few times but never received a response...

I am FSW Inland and I'm in Canada on a Visitor Visa that I applied for 4.5 months ago. It is expiring in a 1.5 months.

Does my PR application pending allow me to remain here on implied status? Do I need to do anything?

I'm wondering whether I should apply for another VV but already had 2 back to back as my work permit ended in May 2016 and I stayed legally as a visitor.
