FSW from Qatar

hi, i'm applying to FSW from Qatar, would love to communicate with someone who already applied, or in the process to make sure i'm on the right track. will be happy to see someone helping out.

i wanted to make sure about this english test that is mentioned in the checklist; CELPIP english test, i checked with the place that offer the test and it's only in canada and the test is physical. not sure how necessary is this test as they say IELTS and CELPIP..

also, do i need to translate the police certification to english? as the one i got from my origin country is in arabic.

to make sure, my documents are as the below:

. birth certificate (to be translated to english)
. police clearanse - my origin country (to be translated to english)
. police clearanse - from qatar (no need for translation, its bilingual)
. ECA original and copies of my original certificates (in english)
. work experience letters
. bank statment - the last 6 months
. copies of my passport
. personal photos - as the requirements
. IELTS test - not sure if i need CELPIP or not...
. payment cheque
. and then filling all the required forms - my personal info

thanks a lot in advance, that would be very helpful for me.

IELTS or CELPIP. In Qatar you can go for IELTS in British council or in North Atlantic college.

Nasa Qatar din po ako...Patanong lang po, ok lang ba na Manila ang ilalagay ko na Visa office? At sa police clearance naman, dapat po ba NBI at qatar police clearance ang ilalagay ko?

Ask ko lang po turn aroundtime ng MVO to send notifications like for medical requests or they already received the documents.

I received my PER lasy 09.24.14

Additional to ECA report don't forget to include copy/copies of diploma.

Hello! Any FSW's from Qatar?? I just received my PP request and was required to submit at VFS Global office in Jaidah Square. They said they will not send it to Abu Dhabi but elsewhere due to the crisis and that could cause a delay. Anyone recently got their PP back?

Just received the AOR. Facing trouble due to Qatar PCC .
How did you obtain your Qatar PCC?

AOR received in May 2017
PP request not yet received.
Could you please advise regarding the agencies which helps in getting Qatar PCC.
I had been to Qatar twice on business visa. When I received the PCC from CEID it has only mentioned my period of stay after obtaining the Residence Permit.

Unfortunately , this is common in Qatar, they issue the PCC only for the duration after you obtain the residence permit. I would suggest that you go there again try to talk to the police officer/officer and explain the situation to him, tell him that you need the PCC to cover all the duration (he will give you two PCCs, one to cover the business visa duration and another for the duration after the residence permit). Good luck

I am a non arabic speaker andI had been to CEID office in salwa road office requesting for the same.
It is really sad that the officers there hardly listen to what you say and they don't reciprocate in English.
They directed me to captain and the captain was also not there in his office.
That is the reason why I asked about any agencies.

Hello! No i didnt get my passport back. Its been exactly one week now. Should take another week. When I tracked it on the VFS website (they gave me a tracking number) it said its been fwded to the abudhabi visa office.

What about you? Did you get any update?

How long did you stay in Qatar on business Visa?

You can always include that part of the stay in your travel history and not address history.

PCC dates have to match with address history.

I had also stayed in qatar for a month back in 2011 but I moved here in 2012. I counted that stay as part of my travel history and when I moved here for good I counted my second stint as part of my address history
