FSW Category3 main duties

Hi

Right now im working in Canada as a SAP Consultant since last one year . I have more than 7 years of experience in SAP . And im qualifying the FSW immigration .

Im planning to apply under FSW-Category3 which is temporary worker in canada since one year .

If i apply under this category should my duties must be at managerial level -0213 (or) if i have technical duties will it be fine. I may qualify under 2172 code which is SAP datawarehouse analysit .

pls give ur suggestions .

Hi ,

I suggest u apply under NOC 2172/2173 which e ver fits you as NOC -0213 will need managerial duties and a reference letter for it.

But this is my opinion. i am in the same case you , i applied under NOC 2173.

So is it not mandatory to have managerial experience for applying under FSW-Category3 .

If yes how did u confirm . I mean did u ask to any canadain attorney .

Did u apply ur self or given to attorney .

Hi Mohammed,

Managerial experience or experience of managerial duties is mandatory for peoplw who are IN IT and are not in canada working as a temporary foreign worker or studying as a student.

FOr us , i.e people who have one year experience in canada there is no need of applying under 0213 , its upto us if we have managerial experience we can choose this NOC , if we dont have then we can choose any NOC which fits us ( there is no restriction of 38 occupations for us)
but lets say IT engineers in india they have no other option but to somehow fit to this 0213 category.

now for your case, i am sure that you can fit in either 2172 or 2173 - 2173 looks more appropraite to me as 2172 is database specific.

i am also a Data warehouse specialist working at SAP business Objects in Vancouver , for me 2173 fitted best , my designation is technical LEad.

So did u apply urself or give to any canadian attorney . Did you get the confirmation letter from CIC saying that you are eligible for FSW- Category3 (2173).

Im planning to hire David Cohen for doing my process. How is his service and do u know anyone who took his service . pls give ur opinion .
