FSW Caregary2-- arrange employment after post-graduation workpermit

Hi,,,

Can you please help me out to clear few more questions...

1) In Generic application
Q 4--- Immigaration Office requested for processing this application--- Here do I need to select nova-scotia or new Delhi( India) ( I am presently in canada on work visa)


And for National Identity Document question-- Can I use my canadian driving licence ?

2) In Background / Decleration
Q 7 Elementary/primary school from which grade to which
Secondary/high school from which garde to which

As i studied in India i done grade 1- 10 in one school and grade 11-12 in other shool,,, so how to write the years in each column??
Q 8 Personal History
I started my fulltime job from may 2012 and still countinuing that job,, so i can write may 2012 in from column but what i will write in to space??

Though your questions are very simple and could be easily found on CIC website, Checklist etc ..... I discourage spoon feeding but here are your answers

1) Your visa office should be your country which issued you passport or a country where you are living on valid VISA/PERMIT for more than 12months. - So prominently you should choose Ned Delhi Visa Office without any confusion (NDVO is fastest in processing)

2) Driver License can be attached but if you check on checklist I don't think national identification is mandatory, it is for those who dont have passport or any other proof of identification, as some countries issue special NIC.

3)There are specific columns clearly explain in heading to fill information regarding education since age of 18 or last 10 years, you should fill all information in provided spaces nothing to be left blank

You started working in may2012! make sure you must have previous one year experience before may2012 (Obtaining AEO..), As per FSW-2 (AEO rules) you candidate who qualify 67 points must have minimum one year experience in NOC A,O or B before applying under FSW category.

So as i am in canada for the last 1.5 years can i choose Immigration office requested for processing as canada which is novascotia or New-delhi. And i think i need to send all my filled froms to novascotia, london first right???

And secondly, I have one year experience in India as a staff nurse ,so it is considered as a skill job , And presently after my studies in Canada i good a full time job as Accomodation manager , which is not related to field of my study.So do i need any educational background or experience in this field.
And i think in my case I dont need hrdc approval/ LMO as I am in post-graduation work permit.

Either I am not understanding your conditions correctly or otherwise my simple answer is you have a big misconception regarding eligibility and rules.
please consult a good lawyer consultant or your institute's international student center....

Your PGWP doesn't make you eligible for PR neither you can skip HRSDC approval for LMO/AEO. Because as per current guidelines application will be accepted only if they are accompanied with AEO or LMO.

Your job must have to be under NOC O,A or B category and you need to provide reference/experience letter mentioning your duties,pay, hours worked on letter head of your ex employer along with pay stub or income tax return.

I have no idea about occupation category of "Staff Nurse" please refer to HRSDC Website for detail on its NOC code.

If you are unable to obtain LMO from your current employer, you need to wait till Jan2013 for new rules of FSW.

Because I hold Indian Passport I can either opt Visa office of my country or any other Visa office where I have been living since 1year. NDVO is fastest among all canadian offices so I opted for NDVO. my PGWP was expired so I obtained wp extension by LMO for PR purposes.

• in a confirmation-exempt category under the North America Free Trade Agreement, the General Agreement on Trade and Services, or the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement;
• in a significant-benefit category, such as an intra- company transferee
• in the category where limited access to the labour market is granted for public policy reasons (i.e., postgraduate work, spouse/common-law partner of temporary skilled worker/foreign student, etc.).
• the work permit is valid at the time
of the permanent resident visa
application and at the time the visa
is issued; and
• the employer has made an offer to
employ the applicant on an
indeterminate basis if the
permanent resident visa is issued.

So do I need LMO or AEO? and I want to choose CPP-O as my visa office,can I? Because as a Bangladeshi,my Singapore visa office is too slow for processing. Thank you in advance.

Everything else is fine but remember only those FSW applications are being accepted who accompany LMO as all caps of NOC are filled. You have to submit LMO and not AEO.

Hi Jittu

I have a question. LMO is required only when you want to get a new work permit or you want to get it extended.

As far as I have read if you have a permanent job letter and a work permit you don't need an LMO or an AEO.

LMO or AEO is required if you are being hired newly and you cannot work in Canada.

you can obtain LMO anytime through your employer your current work permit doesn't limit you from applying it. if you have Post Grad work permit it will be good as your employer need not to show recruitment efforts. The LMO is applied by employer and it can be even applied by any number of employers for one common candidate. My brother recently obtained LMO from his fulltime and part time both employers.
