No fix time lines, it varies from case to case, normally 04 to 06 months after medicals

Last month i got registered for CIIP( Canadian immigrant integration program) session at http://www.newcomersuccess.ca/index.php/about-ciip/how-to-register-with-ciip?lang=en-GB , now i received an email from them that i have been selected for online CIIP session dated September 10, 2013 about 06 hours,(to be conducted through E leaning platform "Elluminate") which will be followed by MAP ( My action Plan, it means a personal interaction with Canadian orientation officer for 60 to 90 minutes).
Is there anyone else invited for this session?
How will i submit filled form, is it to be filled and scanned and to be emailed or to be sent through post, they have given 05 days time for sending me filled form and CV,
Guidence is required from any senior who has attended or know the information.

Cpp ottawa ask me for personal history for last one year. Can someone on this forum please share the format how should i write it.
Thanks

You may follow the pattern on background declaration form.

Has anyone of FSW Backlog reduction --> PNP selected candidate applied for open work permit yet?

I am thinking of applying since LVO seems to be working on its usual 'snail' pace - and although PNP applicants were given the impression that this process will be more 'expeditious' than FSW backlog - LVO doesn't seem to have the same understanding... :-)

If anyone of you can identify forms that maybe required to fill out... I do have 'Open Work Permit' from Ontario, so would i need to apply for temp entry visa? or work visa? ??? any help will be highly appreciated.

thanks

Please follow the instruction at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-how.asp or your local Visa office, if you are living in Pakistan, I think you should follow Islamabad visa office.

You have to apply for both Open Work Permit and temp residence visa (TRV), but only need to submit single fee i.e CAD 150.

As every VO has different set of instruction and requirements, therefore for detail information follow Local Visa office guidelines

Yes you have to apply for Temporary resident visa. And open work permit forms as well. I think you have the approval from province that you can apply for open work permit. You should go to consulate of your country visa office and must fulfill their requirements. If you have any questions you can ask me. On this forum there is another member from pakistan who got visa in 3 months. His name is vuexpert, I can recheck.
Thanks and regards.

thanks malisa;

the problem I am facing is - I am trying to submit my application using the 'apply online' option - and

* I was able to go through all of the questions and ultimately to the forms section when I applied for temporary visit visa.
* But then vuexperts or Imran775 suggested I need to apply for work permit as well. and thats when the problem started... when I try to apply for work permit, it asks me (besides other questions) whether I have written job offer. When I say NO - it kind'a kicks me out of the whole process saying you are not eligible.

so u see - I was almost done with TRV app - when thankfully I found out that I may have to apply for work permit - but since then this 'apply online' option is driving me nuts with problems that I mentioned above.

what to do... anxiety bordering to desperation now :-) should I leave the online option and submit manually?
