Pls reply for the below Query if applying from Dubai(FSW - NOC-4131)


1, Should I attach the entire documents required by Visa Office with initial application or only the 4 application/passport copy and fees asper checklist 5612.

2,The passport copies should be attested at initial stage.

3, Which office should I forward and the address. Some say you need to forward to London office.

4, Any photograps required at initial stage.


Please clarify to process my wife application.

Clarify what is the meaning of all document...

For the first stage (Assuming FSW category and you are sending to Sydney CIU) you dont need to send
all documents.

Please read the instructions carefully -- dont send without reading every line of the instructions...

Vijay. Fill in all the required Forms and make the 5612 as a Cover page Of your all Forms. You do not need to attach IELTS in this stage OR any photos .You do not need to attach any Other documents EXCEPT your passport Copy. PUT all the documents in Envelope and write down the address of Nova scotia sydney One. Make sure You Put TWO Extra Envelope also write down your current address in ENGLISH And ARABIC ( Coz Your wife is Living in UAE). You also do Not need to attest your passport Photo Copies( although some of mates here also attested their one) But i think passport copy is itself a Notarized Identity.

lynx_eyed is absolutely right, it is no where mentioned that the passport photo copies to be sent with initial application to Nova Scotia should be notarized.

I do not understand why some friends in this forum sending notarized copies.

The process is fairy simple.......pls read carefully Guides EG7 & form 5612 check list.

CIO Requires :-

1. Only application forms
2. Fee in CAD payable in Canada in favor of " Receiver General for Canada"
3. Photocopy of Bio data page of passport(Page which has photo's). Only photocopy.

These are the only documents that are to be sent.

Lyns as mentioned (Make sure You Put TWO Extra Envelope also write down your current address in ENGLISH And ARABIC ( Coz Your wife is Living in UAE).

Pls explain .

Buy Two Envelopes from market and write down your current address on each of them. One in English and One in Arabic. Put Those TWO envelopes in along with your Forms in other Envelope ( which you will be sending to CIO Sydney).

Envelope should be a bit more than the size of paper of application form. But i advice you please make sure you read all the information before you fill in application form.

folks if you live in US, only send 2 mailing labels in english ...
No need of sending an empty envelope to CIC

Also I sent a notarized copy of passport to CIC sydney.. I got AOR and sent docs to buffalo and got AOR. So I am speaking from my experience.
