Hi

My partner is on a working holiday visa in Toronto whereas I live in London. I have completed my FSW application. She needs to fill out a few forms too. Is it ok for me to post my forms (from London) to her (in Toronto) and for her to then attach her forms and post them on to the CIO (Centralized Intake Office) in Sydney, NS.

I'm being a bit paranoid that (since I live in London) if my application is received with a Canadian postage stamp that the CIO might be suspicious... Is this a valid concern?

Thanks, Paul

It should not be a problem in my opinion. Let us wait for few more opinions from seniors

I think there is no problem with that. What matters is that you've indicated London as the visa office not Buffalo. Your partner should indicate her current status in Canada (IMM 0008 Schedule 1). If CIC asks why application was posted from Canada, you can explain that your spouse is currently residing in Canada and she needed to complete and sign her forms. I don't think though that it should be an issue. Just focus on correctly filling the forms, leaving no margin for error!!!

Are you the principal applicant? How long is your partner gonna be in Canada?
All the best,
