FSW application evaluation methodology

Good day fellow forum members! I have a question on the FSW application evaluation methodology.

If there are 2 applications, one with minimum eligible points and the other with a higher score, is there a preference given to applications that score higher on the eligibility scale?

I have 13 years of work experience, but have been able to collect reference letters only for 4 of these years. Having said that, I still meet the minimum eligibility of 67 points for the FSW program. Would it affect the outcome of the application if I continue to pursue reference letters from the other companies I worked with, or should I submit my application as I meet the minimum requirements?

Hi pal,

It would be fine to drop u r app if u r qualified with those 4 reference letters ... at thesame time its also handy to have one more reference letter , not to loose points from experience point of view ,, dont get late ..

There is no preference for higher scores. It is purely first in, first out.

Good day everyone! I have two questions.

1. I sent my application earlier this week and now realized that I accidently made an error on one of the forms. The package has not been received by the office yet. Is it advisable to send additional information with the corrections made on a new form or should I wait for them to contact me?

2. I have seen that a few members have timelines listed under their names in this forum. I applied earlier this week and would like to enter my details as well. I applied under FSW, NOC 1212 and mailed my application on September 30, 2014.
