FSW Applicant 2014

Hi everyone,

I applied for FSW in the last week of July 2014 and haven't had a response yet. I am wondering how long does it take to get initial response. Can someone let me know ? Also what's the average time period to get the whole process done ? I am inside Canada. Does it anyway speeds up the process ?

Hi

I don't think it matters if you are inside or outside Canada. According to the spreadsheet, the latest application being processed is one arrived on 30th of May. So you probably need to wait for another month before you get the initial response (your CC or DD will be charged and you receive an email).

First you DD gets charged. Then you get PER if you are found eligible.

I think you are on global Queue for PER. so you have to wait until your turn.

Once you have PER, the file will be transferred to Local Visa Office (CPC-Otawwa should be yours).

Looks like, Once the file reached there, it would be super fast.
