Check out the June and July AOR threads, there are some applications where this happened.

Yes, I'm assuming Ottawa is still caught up with their backlog from the first half of the year when it was solely CEC and PNP draws. Once that backlog finishes, we'll hopefully start seeing FSW approvals from Ottawa. (They seem to be giving a lot of July approvals this week, check out the July AOR thread).

VOs like Accra and London currently seems to be processing Aug/Sep/Oct apps in which there was a good share of FSW applicants, hence FSW approvals are coming from these VOs.
and yet this story continues, we will be here and watch those new stream of students and others come and go :)

I called the IRCC again today, but it doesn't seem like they made any progress on my file as my status remains more or less the same as the last time I called them in April.

Hi @legalfalcon
I received a new gcms and in it, it shows everything's been completed. But I noticed something. It shows copr&counterfoil has not started but the counterfoil has a :valid to 2021/07/19, an office of issue, date of creation, upper&lower machine readable line and document number&yes I've been placed in a covid group. What can these possibly mean? Also, can I go ahead to fill the travel exemptions form as I have siblings in Canada and I've also received the covid vaccine.
Thank you

You can request exemption from travel and travel if you have a visa. Travel exemption will not expedite the decision on your application.

Many applications that are not exempt from travel restrictions, have been placed on hold.

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well and safe. I am new to this thread.

Can anyone please share the contact number of IRCC which I can call from the US?
The numbers are given on their website but not connecting from here. I want to call and ask for an update on my application.

Hi @legalfalcon
Is there any link about the numbers of applicants who got COPR (since 2019 -present) based on country of residence? Is the delay in processing related to the country of residence? Is the pause in security step relates to officer laziness or lost applications?
If our application is considered complex, does IRCC inform us about the complexity?

Thank you

CIC does not inform you about the complexity. Not sure about number relating to country, but I believe the delay is because everything is too random. There is no criteria at all.

Thank you

Have you already received the Copr or a PPR? Just curious since I heard they're not issuing COPRs to FSWs at the moment even though everything has been passed because of the travel restrictions.

Hello my question is I had worked in company A from nov 2015 to March 2017 as a sales executive but my designation changed to sales and marketing executive but in my study permit when I had submitted my resume it was sales executive so when submitting reference letter it is stating as sales and marketing executive so would it be suspicious in the officers mind kindly reply

I didn’t update my resume while submitting my file for study permit

Is your Covid group called “CPC-COVID-RFV” or “COVID PACE”? The two are hugely different.
