Thanks for starting this thread. Here is my data point.

- FSW outland
- AOR: May 2020

Hope everyone can get COPR soon!

Has anyone heard if any FSW-Os processed by Ottawa have received COPR in the last couple of months?

- FSW Outland (USA)
- AOR: August 2020
- VO: Ottawa
- Eligibility passed, criminality not started, security not started
- Last called IRCC Jan 20

In other thread, I saw people say that criminality should be before eligibility. But I am in seeing in some cases (and my case), eligibility passed but security in progress or not started. Wonder why.

I think most FSW is in Ottawa now, most have eligibility passed but files haven't been touched for months...

Ottawa is killing me honestly. Accra is issuing pr left and right..Accra!!! A family member once had his vo has Accra and he waited 15months to get copr. Now Accra is processing ppr in 3 months! Check different express entry forum and all you'll see this morning is people getting copr from Accra. Please something needs to be done about this Ottawa stagnation. Let's discuss options on what can possibly be done to get them to revisit our files

I believe so. Eligibility is the most time consuming and complicated part, as I understand. The problem is officers are not touching our files for other parts:(

Do we have an estimate how many EE applications are pending at IRCC? Somewhere between 50k and 100k? What are they gonna do with so many cases, even if they resume to full capacity...

I read security could be the longest (up to 3 months pre-COVID). But it varies from app to app.

I called again yesterday and my security still hasn't begun. The person I spoke to said they're short-staffed due to the pandemic. There's nothing anyone can do but wait.

Security won't start until eligibility has been passed by an officer. I think most of the FSW applications at Ottawa have not been touched by any officer. Do you know what your visa office is?

IRCC states that "Due to the impacts of COVID-19, we’re experiencing processing delays. We’re prioritizing applications from people who are exempt from travel restrictions. "

US residents are exempted from travel restrictions but I don't think they are processing any US applications faster at Ottawa.
